Didn't have a lot of time to work on this today but made a start on knocking back the temple and background trees... but not there yet. I think that I will paint in the foreground tomorrow before I finish the background as it is quite critical how the balance of the lights and darks are, it has to look very cold and snowy but still having enough darks in it to give it structure.
