Abend Gallery show

Just an advance notice that I will have two paintings exhibited at the Abend Gallery, Denver, Colorado in the Inner Visions show running from 8 October to 11 November 2016. They will be "Cold Constantinople" and "Fireflies" which were originally painted for IlluXCon but as I am unable to attend they will be exhibited at the Abend Gallery instead.

International Artist magazine

Continued apologies for lack of posts but still away from the studio most of the time, hopefully things will start to normalise in a few weeks...
I have been asked by International Artist magazine to write a four page article on my work under their "Master Painters Of The World" heading which should be published in the forthcoming December/January issue assuming that I can get the materials to them in good time.
I am thinking of concentrating on my Roadside America series of paintings for this with the addition of "Cold Constantinople" to give an idea of other subjects that I paint.

Gods and Goddesses

I am continuing to apologise for the lack of posts but still largely away from the studio.
"The Fantasy Illustration Library Volume 2: Gods and Goddesses" has just been published by Michael Publishing in the USA in which I have a painting of the Balinese rice goddess Dewi Sri. My copy of the book has just arrived from the USA and a handsome book it is like Volume 1 was. I hope that the book does well so that Michael and Malcolm Phifer can continue to publish more in the series.
