I mixed up a transparent desaturated blue wash and applied it with a rag and flat brushes on top of the initial underpainting leaving the underpainting showing through in the area of the sunburst and where the light hits the buildings.
Colours used: Phthalocyanine Blue, Phthalocyanine Green and Quinacridone Red.
