Artists & Illustrators magazine - Summer In The City fifth day

I am working on different areas of the picture as I go along. The cinema is now ready for the final highlights, shadows and washes of green for the shade area. After that I need to sort out the left side of the picture and paint in the diner.

    Fascinating to see you work and the colours already give a feeling of a steamy day in the city. Only one concern, the water tower and the column between the windows are right in the centre of the painting.

      Yes I would like to paint out the water tower but had to send finished article to the magazine in time for the deadline with the tower still in place. I have asked if I have time to change it. The column does'nt bother me. Thanks for the input!

    I have since painted the water tower out and glad I did!
