Give Me Shelter - finished

I finished the painting today and am now moving on to do a couple of landscapes in the same format as I am finding the double-square shape a nice change from the past ten years working in a square format. I am still having problems with photographing it with a digital camera, the way they are set up seems to bring out contrast particularly when it comes to blues and oranges which is probably why they take great pictures in low/artificial light. Despite some use of Photoshop to try and remedy the contrast the shelter still does not stand out against the background quite as it appears in the image above!
